Announcing the Seattle Superprestige

MFG Cyclocross & Cyclocross Revolution (CXR) are excited to announce the Seattle Superprestige, a brand-new combined race series from MFG and CXR. Modeled after the legendary Belgian Superprestige, this six-race series will crown the true champions of Seattle cyclocross across all categories.

The format is simple: race the races you’re already racing, earn points toward the Superprestige standings, and see where you stack up by season’s end. The series pulls in three MFG races and three CXR races, with your best five results out of six counting toward your overall score (5 race minimum to qualify). Points are awarded 20 places deep, and podiums will be awarded to the top three point earners in every category. No extra cost. No extra registration. Just line up, go hard, and let the results speak for themselves.

The Seattle Superprestige kicks off September 7 at MFG #1 North 40 at LeMay and wraps up October 26 at CXR #4. Full details, including point structure, categories, and standings updates via Webscorer, are on the MFG site here. Whether you’re racing for the podium or chasing personal goals, the Superprestige is a new way to measure yourself against the best and celebrate the season with the entire Seattle cyclocross community.

2025 MFG Race Schedule – New & Improved

For 2025, we’ve made some tweaks to the race schedule—powered by racer feedback, spreadsheets, and maybe a little too much coffee. The goal? Spread racers more evenly between waves, reduce mid-course traffic jams, and keep race-day vibes running smoother than a fresh set of tubulars.

Here’s what’s changing:

Wave 1 – 9:00 AM
Open C4 Males roll out here, while Master C4 50+ & 60+ move to Wave 3. This splits up two of our biggest categories to help with course crowding, and gives the C4 Masters a break from the sunrise start.

Wave 2 – 9:55 AM
Now home to Female C3, Cat 3/4 Master Female, Cat 4 Female, Beginner Female, and Nonbinary Adults. We’ve created a bigger gap before the kids/juniors race, which means parents can finish their race and still make it to the junior start line without breaking into a second sprint.

Wave 3 – 10:50 AM
C4 Master 50+ & 60+, Beginner Men, and High School Males now line up here. This evens out field sizes and moves high school racers out of the kids/juniors wave—making for less chaos and more speed. Plus, it gives juniors the chance to “race up” into the open categories if they’re feeling extra spicy.

The rest of the schedule stays the same—because its working!

See you at North 40 on September 7!

Volunteer with MFG

It takes a village to put on a bike race and cyclocross is no different.

Volunteering at an MFG race will bring you appreciation from your fellow racers and hugs and high fives from the team here at MFG.

Plus you get to race for FREE. For every volunteer role you take you will get one free race at MFG.

We have a few options to help… We need folks to help setup the course before each race and to tear the course down after the last racers have crossed the finish. We also need crossing guards during the race day.

You can sign up for all MFG races at the links below.

North 40 – LeMay – September 7, 2025

Beach Party at Silver Lake – September 21, 2025

Thank You To This Amazing community

Putting on a cyclocross race is no small feat and takes a village. We are incredibly grateful for all the folks this season who stepped up to rake, shovel, pound, tape, time, guard, tear-down, set-up, carry, load, register, teach, announce, lift, attend, start, stage, organize, restore, and cheer.

This season we had over 200 volunteer spots and over 100 individual volunteers across our six races to set up the course and venue, work as crossing guards & parking attendants, and tear down the course.

We have a regular staff of more than a dozen folks to help with registration, course setup/teardown/maintenance, timing, announcing, staging & starts, podiums, preview laps, media, and more.

We are immensely grateful for all the helping hands, sweat and sore backs you offered to us during the season!

Thank you!

Mike, Blaine, Erik, and Chris

MFG is #1… Again

We did it… again!

The Woodland Park Gran Prix was once again the biggest race in the country (so far). This year, both our registration number (1,195) and our finisher count (1,098) exceeded the great results we had in 2023, and was the biggest race in earth since 2018.

Thank you all for joining in the fun and making Woodland Park the largest cyclocross race on Earth! We did this together. Thank you.

The Woodland Park Gran Prix can ring a cowbell for other reasons as well….

  • 224 Beginners! Our beginner category is bigger than 80% of all races in 2024.
  • 19 Tandems! Double the fun!
  • 21 Non-binary Racers

The WSBA Championship is Coming to the Woodland Park Gran Prix

We are excited to announce today that the Woodland Park Gran Prix, the earth’s largest cyclocross race, is now also the WSBA Championship for 2024!

Join us for the MFG Finale on Sunday November 17, 2024, and you stand a chance to also win a sweet WSBA Champion jersey.

What is the WSBA? It is the Washington State Bicycle Racing Association, the non-profit that helps promoters put on races, in a safe, fair and fun environment by providing equipment, officials, organizing championships, working with the sport’s governing bodies and more. Led by volunteers, the WSBA also helps new racers learn and grow in the sport we love through training, grants and other opportunities. Check out wsbaracing.org for more info.

This is still an normal MFG race… nothing changes if you want to race Woodland… you can still ride a Lime Bike if you want, ride a tandem with your granddad, wear a dinosaur costume, take every hand-up you see, or keep your heart-rate below 100. Nothing special needed.

The Woodland Park GP is the 6th and final race of the MFG Cyclocross 2024 season. Season points and team points for the MFG series are all unchanged with this news.

The following races, while still part of the MFG series, will not be WSBA championship events, Clydesdale, Beginner, Tandem, Unicycle, but all other categories will don a WSBA Champion at the podium presentation.

This is not USAC sanctioned race, so no need for a USAC license or a WSBA membership to race at Woodland Park or to win the WSBA championship in your category. We do encourage you to support bike racing in Washington and become a WSBA member, but again, this is not required to race or to win.

WSBA will provide a really awesome championship jersey for winners of the championship races. WSBA jerseys will be awarded at the same time as MFG podiums

MFG is Back!

Hey MFG fans,

MFG is back!

We know you missed us. Miss us no more. We will be back in 2022 with a six-race series at your favorite venues. And we’ll bring the fun, crazy atmosphere you love.

You’ll see some new faces this year fixing the course tape and pounding the stakes. The Low Pressure Promotions crew (Terry, Zac, Robert & Rich) decided to pass the MFG baton to our team, Off Camber Productions.

Thank you, Rich, Terry, Zac, and Robert

We are honored to carry on this legendary Seattle tradition. We all owe a huge thank you to Terry, Zac, Robert & Rich for bringing a decade of fun, community and sweat to Seattle.

The Off Camber Team–you’ll recognize us–we’ve been around Seattle cross for a long time. Led by Russell Stevenson, World & National Champion cyclocrosser, we aim to grow the bike racing community by getting more women, youth, BIPOC, LGBTQ and young adults on bikes. Bring your mom, we’ll get her on a bike too.

The Off Camber Productions Team

Got a mountain bike? We also put on Wednesday Night World Champs, the most fun you’ll have on a Wednesday. Weds Night Worlds starts April 20 and runs almost every week through August.

And we’ve got a surprise planned. We’ll give you another reason to take off the gardening gloves this summer, step away from your Xbox, for a weekend of fun. It’s happening July 9th & 10th–save the date.
