Get ready for something brand new in the MFG Cyclocross Series — Pumpkin Smash CX at Swans Trail Farms! For the first time ever, we’re racing at this legendary Snohomish County fall destination. This course is going to be a flat-and-fast blast, with one unforgettable twist: you’ll be flying through a Washington-state-shaped corn maze at full cyclocross speed. Think barnyard vibes meet big race energy — the perfect way to shake up your season.

2025 Washington State Cyclocross Championship

We are thrilled to announce that the Pumpkin Smash CX will serve as the 2025 WSBA Cyclocross State Championship. That means championship jerseys, bragging rights, and top competition from across Washington—all on one of the most festive courses of the year. And yes, you’ll be racing through a Washington-State-shaped corn maze, so you know it’s peak PNW cyclocross. Whether you’re chasing a title or just racing for fun, this is one you don’t want to miss.

A few details:

Washington State CX Championship podiums are only open to WA state residents and WSBA members
All MFG categories will be included except Beginner, Tandem and Unicycle.
WA State Champion podiums will be held at the same times as MFG podiums.

Venue Info

IMPORTANT NOTE: Swans Trail Farm does not want people walking or riding through their main venue area near their barns and buildings. This area is OFF LIMITs. We will have this area taped off. DO NOT cross the tape. The rest of the Farm is not open. This is a new venue for MFG. Please follow the rules so we can be invited back next year.
TIPS – This is awesome venue. Racing through a pumpkin patch and corn maze! But it’s a farm. There’s not much grass. The venue is in the fields so bring your mud boots.
Race Day Schedule and all the info you need – You can find the race day schedule for the Pumpkin Smash CX and all sorts of important (and usually boring) stuff on our Series info page.
Parking – There is ample parking in the grass field on the north end of Swans Trail Farm. Follow the MFG signs.
Team Tents – Team tents will be nestled in and among the pumpkins. Feel free to move the pumpkins around to fit your tent. Bring your carving tools and make a jack-o-lantern. There is no vehicle access to the field where team tents will be set.
Mechanic – We have a mechanic on site if you need a quick tune but please don’t ask him to repaint your bike.
First Aid – We have a friendly medic who can tape you up if you get a boo-boo.
Bathrooms – Look for the nicely scented porta-potties near registration.
Food & beverage – Hungry? Enjoy tacos by Taco Cortez taco truck ~~and Coffee by Catherine for coffee and tasty pastries~~. 11/1 7pm update-sorry the generator for Catherine’s coffee truck blew, so unfortunately no coffee tomorrow.
Welcome tent – First time racing? New to MFG? – We have a welcome tent where you can hang out, stash your granddad while you race and friendly race Ambassadors who can answer any questions you have. More info here.
