Magnuson Park Cross

Sunday, October 19, 2025

Magnuson Park Cross is back, and it’s all about speed. With wide-open grass sections, smooth transitions, and just enough off-camber action to keep things spicy, this is one of the fastest courses on the calendar. Whether you’re chasing podiums or just finding your rhythm, Magnuson offers a flowy, fun ride that rewards power and keeps the good vibes rolling.

Bring the family, bring your cheering squad, and maybe even bring grandpa—this race is spectator-friendly with great sightlines, ample parking, and easy access. Bonus points if you show up in plaid. Magnuson always brings out a big crew, and it’s the perfect place to soak in the community spirit that makes MFG Cyclocross so special.

Venue Info

  • Race Day Schedule and all the info you need – You can find the race day schedule for Magnuson Park Cross and all sorts of other info (with some weak attempts at humor) on our Series info page.
  • Team Tents – See the course map below for the location for team tents. Some important notes
    • Tent locations are first come first serve
    • All tents will be subject to inspection by the Fire Marshall. If your tent doesn’t have a fancy fire tag sewn into it, please bring a fire extinguisher.
    • Vehicle access past the course crossing on the road will close from 8:30am to 4pm.
  • Team Tent Logos & Banners – The City of Seattle is strict about charging for every corporate/company logo displayed at events in Seattle Parks. If your team tent has a for-profit corporate logo, you can either cover the logo, or pay us (and we’ll pass this to the city). Team names that are not a company or that are a non-profit are exempt from payment. More info here
  • Mechanic – We have a mechanic on site near the registration.
  • Bathrooms – You can find a nice selection of fancy scented porta-potties on the north side of the course near racer parking.
  • Food & beverage Cup of Jones Espresso will be on site providing coffee and tasty pastries. Delfino’s Pizza is back to fill your tummy after your race with Chicago Style Pizza. And Taco Cortes will be providing Mexican food.
  • Kite Hill – There is no riding on Kite Hill, except where we have the course set. Please don’t ride there. Don’t let your grandpa ride there either.

Parking & Transportation

There is plenty of parking at Magnuson Park, but it’s a bit of a walk to the venue. The main parking is at the Google map location here

  • IMPORTANT NOTE: The park is asking that ALL attendees, particularly those on bikes, please stay on the pavement at all times.  There is absolutely NO RIDING THROUGH THE WETLANDS near the venue.
  • Recommended Parking: Most people will want to park in lots E1 and E5 noted on the map below. These are big lots with ample parking–you’ll just need to plan to walk or ride a bit to the venue. If you park in E5, please ensure you do not ride through the wetlands to get to the venue.
  • If you arrive early & plan to stay all day. Lot E4 is the closest lot, but access to get to E4 will close at 8:30AM and you won’t be able to leave until around 4pm, after the last race wave finished.
  • No Parking available along the road OR E3 lot. If you arrive early, you can drop team tents and gear, but no cars will be allowed to park on the road.
  • Getting to the venue — If you live nearby, please ride your bike. If not, think about carpooling, taking public transportation, or a horse & buggy. If you do ride to the race, please ensure bikes stay on paved areas at all times.
